Freddy Rukundo, B.S. | Lead Certified Application Counselor (CAC)
Originally from Tanzania, Freddy Rukundo brings a unique global perspective and a robust academic foundation to the CHANGE team. Freddy first joined our organization as an intern, where he demonstrated an exceptional commitment to our mission while completing his bachelor’s degree in public health at Worcester State University. Today, we are proud to have him serving as our Lead Certified Application Counselor (CAC), where he utilizes his journey from intern to leader to inspire and guide our outreach efforts across the Commonwealth.
Freddy is deeply passionate about advancing health equity by ensuring that underserved and underprivileged populations have access to equitable services, including MassHealth. Driven by a commitment to reducing systemic barriers, he takes great pride in empowering families to navigate complex healthcare landscapes with clarity and confidence. Through his dedicated outreach and community-centered support, Freddy plays a key role in CHANGE’s ongoing efforts to create a meaningful, lasting impact on the health and well-being of the Worcester community.
